BRF Markings – Engraving Depth
All lifting devices shall have permanent marking designating their capacity. Name plates with the required information is affixed to all lifting devices depending upon size. Never using stamps which can create stress risers in the lifting pieces. BRF uses an electronic engraving machine to designate the WLL of all bent bar lifting devices to a depth of .004-.007. This keeps your inspection records up to standard as well as your lifting devices in good condition for use with no stress risers created from harsh stamping.
